Grants •
We are dedicated to enriching education and empowering youth through meaningful opportunities for growth and learning. By awarding grants to classroom teachers and advisers, we help bring innovative projects and hands-on educational experiences to life. We also support select community initiatives that create recreational opportunities for young people, helping inspire creativity, connection, and lifelong learning both inside and outside the classroom.
The Foundation will consider awards or gifts to individuals or groups presenting proposals meeting the criteria set forth by the Foundation. The purpose for which awards or gifts may be used is intended to be broad, and illustrates potential purposes:
• Educational innovations for school based projects consistent with the mission of the school system, but beyond the resources of the school district.
• Projects offering innovative solutions to persistent problems faced by Custer County youth.
• Recreation projects offering increased recreation opportunities for significant numbers of youth in Custer County.
• Other projects or grants addressing interesting or exciting opportunities which may present themselves.
